Как мне передать переменную скрипту step.php

Вариант 1 - передавать через GET.
Sample: <script>document.write('<iframe src="step.php?k='+var+'" width="100%" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>)';</script>
Вариант 2 - передавать через кукисы.
Думаю есть еще много вариантов, но это самые простые
